This, over here on the right, is me! I took this picture as I was getting ready to explore some hills, which is one of the things I love to do. These days I can do it without getting myself into some kind of pain situation- and that is thanks to the Feldenkrais Method!
I found my way to the Feldenkrais method while I was studying for a PhD and spending long hours hunched over books and keyboards. Quite the little stress fiend, my mind was as knotty as my body and it was an enormous relief to find, in my first ATM class, a place and a way to come home to the peaceful places in myself. The Feldenkrais Method has given me the practical means of expanding my once fragile and limiting self-image and of feeling more efficient and effective in my actions and thus in my life (now when I want to push something away, I have both the reach and the push!). It is most of all, for me, the kindest of methods, always hopeful about our potential to improve and to learn, no matter where we are beginning from or what our age
